Dreaming of a Ligne Roset Togo

Ligne Roset Togo

Can I dream a little this Monday? I love my sofa, I really do, and it serves us very well. It’s comfortable, stuffed with down feather, it’s modular and has seen many configurations in our four homes in four years… but sometimes I feel like something a little timeless, that I wouldn’t feel out of place sipping a martini on, and is a true testament to design. If I could make one Sofa wish, with no budget constraints it would be the Togo by Ligne Roset and come to think of it, I’d do the mismatched look just like they do in this image. It’s elegance at it’s best.

I think we could really be friends, we’re of a similar age, she’s 41 and I’m 40 and don’t think I’d let the kids trample all over my new friend, nope they’d have their own mini Togo which is kind of cute too.

Do you love the Togo as much as I do? What’s your dream sofa?

Have a great start to the week everyone!

Mel xx

P.S. If you want to see how this sofa transforms a room, take a look at my newly created Pinterest board dedicated entirely to Togo in real (nice) homes and NZ readers, you’ll find Togo by Ligne Roset at Domo.

My mum bought one of these and I likened it to an old sock, which didn’t go down too well. But I do see the appeal of it and she has very chic style.

My dream sofa would be a deep, linen sofa that you just fall into and it doesn’t matter if it gets spills and stains (just cover it with cushions and blankets!), but our little living room dictates a more streamlined, slimline shape (and budget dictates ikea!)

    Hi Mel,
I think when it comes to this sofa I would even have one in a colour and I don’t say that about everything! ;) Love it!
I’m following you on Pinterest now, didn’t realise I didn’t already. How strange.

I love Togo for many reasons….the main being it is FRENCH! I am pretty sure in another life I was French. ha! I love that sofa and have sat in one a couple of times which was more like resting on a fluffy marshmallow (heaven). I am currently disliking my sofa at the moment-I tell Timm is looks like a big blob of beige-ness. I would love a chartreuse chesterfield in velvet. One day I will have one and if not that is ok too :) Thank you for reminding me how much I love the Togo! Happy day to you! Jocelyn xx

Togo is such a classic (and French <3)! My favorite Ligne Roset sofa is Confluences. It looks so cosy and fits an entire family (including cats). Although it's rather expensive and I'm too scared that our cats would destroy it… Enjoy your week, Mel!

Oh yes I can see why you like it, it’s very cool and would work sooo well in your home! Cats are very unpredictable, I remember having a leather couch for 18 months with no problem and then one morning we came downstairs to see our cat scratched it everywhere. Devastated! Luckily he hasn’t done it to this one… Have a great week too xx
