While the story of Nodi rugs might begin in the flea markets of Milan, it’s really about Olivia, the founder of Nodi’s journey. It’s about how she created a business that is a reflection of her love of textures and craftsmanship along with her strong ethics. One thing is for certain, she’d listened to her instincts and took some chances for everything to unfold into the business it is today. It’s early days yet. Her workspace is her home. She works from the kitchen table, surrounded by glass walls and ceiling, albeit it’s not the type that’s holding her down.

Citta Design Summer | Patterned Landscapes
I could imagine that as a designer, it would be quite a challenge to move from one collection to the next and ensure that the two mix seamlessly together. Citta Design has managed to pull this challenge off once again with their 2015/16 summer collection, Patterned Landscapes, inspired by the textures of Mali. There’s nothing I enjoy better on a rainy weekend than having a soak in a hot bath with a few bath salts and a good read. It’s one of life’s little luxuries. The other day I had the perfect opportunity to do that and I thought it would be a great time to try out the new Ottoloom luxury towel range. Boy was I in for a treat.

Totokaelo is an online store with a flawlessly curated collection of art and object for the home. I seriously had to contain myself with the amount of images to show here today because it’s one of those rare stores where I would happily purchase pretty much anything – if finances (and space) allowed that is.
Citta Design’s Winter Collection
Tuesday morning saw the media launch of Citta Design’s 2015 Winter Collection, Deco Deco, inspired by the city of Paris. It took me a moment to take in the jaw-dropping venue of Silo 6, which set the scene for the stunning new collection.
