This is a real honour and I welcome you to Styled Canvas, especially if this is your first time. I thought that you might like to get to know me a little before exploring the site. I’m an Australian girl who lives in New Zealand with my French husband and our three kids. Styled Canvas is an interior and lifestyle blog and it really is one of my favourite places to be. I am also a freelance writer and have a monthly style column for the NZ House & Garden magazine.
The philosophy of this blog is pretty simple. I believe that having a space that you feel happy to come home to, and that you’re proud of, is great for the soul. This doesn’t mean that you have to go out and spend a fortune decorating it. It’s about gradually building your collection of things that you love and that will stand the test of time, representing who you are, and your life’s story.
Styled Canvas is not only about interiors, it’s a lifestyle blog too. I cook, I travel and I share my thoughts about life. It’s my creative output and you will see fresh posts every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
