Hello everyone! I hope you’re all set for a great weekend. While today is really overcast here, it looks like we’re in for some beautiful Autumn weather over the next couple of days. One thing about living in Sweden is that you get to experience all of the seasons and each of them has something special to offer and to look forward to. Thinking about our lovely walks in the crisp air when we first arrived here, I realised that we landed in Stockholm a year ago yesterday. Can you believe it? Time has flown by so quickly. We actually flew out to Cyprus the very next day, so officially we’ve been living here a year next Thursday. I also realised the other day that I haven’t shown you much of our Stockholm apartment, so I thought today I’ll share some photos of my little workspace with you. Fancy a peek?

I had the urge to take the photos spontaneously last weekend. So other than taking away a few boxes from under the desk, this is how it is at the moment. I’m happy here.  It was at the end of the day so the light was minimal, but you can see from the workspace, there’s still a lot of light from the window. This is great in so many ways except for when I need to edit photos, then I need to move to another part of the apartment, or make use of the evening or an overcast day. Working here in the winter months will no doubt be so good with the welcome morning sun streaming down on me.

The workspace sits in a little nook in the entry and once again my trusty narrow and long German beer table fits perfectly. I’ll link to some of the things on my desk at the end of the post.

So there it is! It will no doubt evolve over time but right now this is my little space where I can move to in the apartment and get creative. I still dream of that little studio at the end of the garden one day, but right now this will do just fine. Simply having a dedicated space to work from makes all the difference.

If you’re curious, see below for details of some of the things on my desk. Have a great weekend everyone.
