Decorate with Tapestry.

Fabric tapestry would have to be one of the most versatile things to have in your home. Even more so with this bohemian trend, which I’m really loving right now. Urban Outfitters demonstrate here how very easy it is to decorate with tapestry with their “Magical Thinking” collection. The best part is that it’s so inexpensive! Spend about fifty dollars and you’ve got all of these options to style and restyle your home.

Use one to divide a room. Perfect when living in a studio or perhaps creating an oasis in a teen’s bedroom. It also makes for a relaxing reading or study nook. This would be ideal under a loft bed.

Bedspreads are also hot right now, especially boho style ones. It can do that too! Or make the perfect featured backdrop behind a sofa or bed.

Use them also as a tablecloth, a curtain that you can clip back or throw it in the basket for your next picnic rug.

It’s such a sweet and creative way to decorate. Of course less is more and best not to overdo it. While I believe that all of these ideas look great, it would be a bit of overkill to have more than one or two of these features in the home. The good thing here is that you can move the tapestry around and experiment what works for you.

Do you use anything like this in the home? I’m certainly going to get one, would you?

I love this, Mel. Very boho!! In fact I bought a tapestry from UO a few years ago yet I’ve only used it once for a boho bedroom makeover as a bedspread. I’d love to have a spacious apartment with high ceilings so that I could actually use it as a wall hanging! Maybe one day:-)
