Wallace-Rd-Corner-Store-Gift-Guide--Tessuti

It’s so important to support our local stores at Christmas time. What would the world be like if it was all about huge shopping malls full of chain stores and Internet shopping? Don’t get me wrong, I don’t reject that type of shopping, but there’s something special about your local bricks and mortar, not to mention the importance of a community for your wellbeing.

My much loved local, Wallace Road Corner stores are having a collective Christmas shopping soiree tomorrow (Thursday). Tessuti, Simon James Concept and Father Rabbit will each be leaving their doors open until 8pm and offering shoppers a festive drink or two. While visiting them is always a lovely experience, this will no doubt make it all the more enjoyable wouldn’t you say?

I won’t be in Auckland tomorrow, so I thought I’d throw my support to the evening with a little gift guide edit for each of these super stylish stores.
