Now that most of my Christmas presents are sorted and that the tree is finally going up this weekend, I’m looking at ways that I can decorate the tabletop on Christmas Day. If there’s any time of the year to try your hand at some simple DIY, it’s now. Here are my favourite four simple tabletop and centrepiece DIY ideas this year.
Starting clockwise top left:
Mette from Monsterscircus truly is one of the most talented DIY bloggers out there. She amazes me with what she comes up with week after week. Most of her projects are very easy to make including this elegant Christmas place setting. Pop over to her blog for the entire table decoration and instructions.
How adorable are these mini wooden Christmas trees? They would look adorable as a table centrepiece, or on the mantle – your choice. Looking at the instructions over on Sugar and Cloth, they are super easy to make too.
Another beautiful centrepiece or mantle idea is this candleholder made out of driftwood. It’s such a lovely and simple idea and adding some nature to the table works so well. You can find the DIY for this and other great ideas including a gorgeous shibori wreath over at Blackbird blog.
Stylist Lucy Weight, has some great tips for creating that perfect tactile table setting. This and other decorative ideas can be found over at the Inside Out blog.
How will you be decorating your table this Christmas?
