I have five more New Zealand Made Christmas gift ideas today. The first is something on the wish list to use not as a stool but as a bedside table. Designed by Timothy John and owner of the uber cool Paper Plane Store, The Side Kick low stool would make a very special and practical gift for the furniture design appreciator. It comes in five different steel base colours and two different solid ash hardwood top finishes.

This Attica Ochre Hanging Chair from Citta Design comes at an insanely good price! It’s fun, it’s fresh and would make the perfect summer gift. The receiver will love you for it, I’m sure! It also comes in colbat blue.

Coral by David Trubridge would have to be one of the most recognisable pieces of New Zealand lighting design and when the time comes for us to leave New Zealand, this will certainly be coming home with us! It comes in a flat pack to be assembled at home so super easy to ship. You can also check his website for worldwide stockists.

A must book for any interior and architecture lover’s collection, Modern: New Zealand Homes from 1938 to 1977 is a collaboration between HOME Magazine and Random House and celebrates the modernist architecture movement of New Zealand. Edited by HOME Editor Jeremy Hansen.

Handmade ceramics are always a lovely gift to receive. I selected the Little Wallpaper Dish by New Zealand ceramist Morgan Haines because of the interesting vintage wallpaper pattern, range of colours and the price. A thoughtful small gift that will no doubt be used for a lifetime.

I hope that you like my selection and if you missed it, you can see part 1 of my New Zealand Christmas gift guide here. I’d love to know if  you have any other New Zealand made gift ideas?

Wonderful selection of gifts, my favourites are the hanging chair and those beautiful green ceramic plates. It’s always hard trying to decide on gifts there are so many beautiful things out there to choose from. Hope you’re having a smooth lead up to Christmas Mel, it’s coming up scarily fast for me. xx
