Almost a year ago to the day, I was at a birthday party of one of my son’s friends and the mother, a friend of mine, served some morning tea for us adults on the prettiest lotus shaped plates. I took mental note of the designer for this blog that was about to be born.
I’ve continued to admire Rachel Carley Ceramics many times over and especially love that the ceramics are handmade here in Auckland, making them just that little bit special and also a thoughtful gift.
I see that Rachel has added more additions to the collection, like the everyday bowls, perfect to dish up some pasta or a bowl of soup. A home can never have too many bowls I think – well my home anyway. But I keep being drawn back to the serving plates in their elegant shades pastels…
