Father Rabbit bathroom

Don’t we all dream about luxury and pampering in our lives? Some time to stop, rejuvenate and nourish our bodies and minds. With three young children I’m craving for this, especially when time for myself is pretty much non-existent at the moment and the thought of curling up and reading a good novel sounds like – heaven!  I’m sure there are a few of you out there nodding your heads right now. So I thought I’d dedicate this post to a place in the home that can make you feel, a little more human. The bathroom.

The bathroom is one of those places that’s easy to add a touch of luxury. A little splurge on some beautiful hand wash not only looks great on the basin and feels so lovely on those tired hands but also leaves a soft aroma in the room. Couple that with some fluffy white towels and you’re almost feeling that you’re in a boutique hotel.

To get my little pampering fix, I went virtual shopping at the ever-gorgeous Father Rabbit store.  Once a beautiful online store, the owners, Claudia and Nick opened the doors of their lovely Grey Lynn home here in Auckland to showcase all things beautiful for every corner of the home. Complimenting the store, they continue to manage their online shop, a must for us time poor people.

Here are my picks of little everyday indulgences for the body and bathroom:

Top to bottom rows left to right:

You can browse through all of their other gorgeous offerings for not only the bathroom but the entire home at Father Rabbit here.

See you Friday!

Hey Mel. Funny thing is I have been meaning to get in touch after our catch up and suggest you interview Claudia for your five decorating q’s as she is also a talented interior designer! But this post is perfect. Such a beautiful range for the bathroom x

You forget It’s full on when your children are younger. I remember a bath with some nice scented bubble bath being a treat. Talking about this reminds me of that children’s book “five minutes peace” by Jill Murphy where the mother elephant just wants five minutes to herself in the bath. . The children follow her & eventually end up in there as well! Which I’d what used to happen to me! I hope you get to have a real pampering session soon Mel.

Father Rabbit is s beautiful store..lovely products.
