With Christmas fast approaching and thoughts of beautiful ways to wrap gifts and a little DIY decorating on my mind, I’ve been on the look out for beautiful products to work with. Today I am featuring a lovely homeware and paper goods online shop, Hello Paper. The shop is only a few months young with an evolving product range that is all reasonably priced and they ship internationally!

Here you’ll find lovely paper goods, twines and homewares, most of it handmade in their Hamilton NZ studio. I just love the simplicity of their products and their focus on earthy tones and natural fibres.

Here are my picks to get ready for Christmas preparations:

Top two above

Left: When wearing your Christmas best, an apron is a necessity for those in the kitchen and this beautiful 100% Linen apron is the perfect choice to not clash with your outfit.

Right:  This hemp twine would add the finishing touches to your gift-wrapping or any handmade decorations.

Top row left: These beautifully crafted traditional scissors will not only look good on display, they’re great to have on hand to snip some herbs or help out with the trillions of wrapping.

Top row centre: I’m loving this sparkly twig decoration for a centre table display. A line of them or filling a bowl would look simply elegant.

Top row right: Some metallic twine in gold or silver perfect for wrapping or handmade gifts.

Bottom row left: Sparkly dot tags in gold or silver, a sweet way to name the gifts under the tree.

Bottom row centre: This cane platter would be a pretty way to present traditional mince pies or to use as a cheese platter like the French.

Bottom row right: Get creative and draw Christmas garlands and wreaths on your windows with this window marker in white.

You can visit the Hello Paper General Store for more lovely things and keep up to date with their new products on their Facebook page.

What a gorgeous shop! I love everything in there!! I’m a little bit obsessed with kraft paper, twine and sparkly things at the moment. Thanks for the introduction. You have some great shops in NZ!
